~Jace Demetri Rockler~no! no more sorrow! i've payed for your mistakes! ___________________________________________ "Damn angels and their freaking complicated ways of guarding a city..." Jace growled as he pushed his body through the snow. The sky hung heavy above him in a smokey gray cloud. Seemed simple enough, he was traveling through a mountain that was almost constantly under a blanket of snow. That was quite alright with him, at least he didn't have to easily waste energy on destroying angels. These days it seemed that was the only think on the Demon's agenda. Destroy them today, rest for a few hours-- then continue the destruction.
Jace used to be one of those angels-- he was born one. He was actually born in Divinous just before the wars started and all the angels evacuated-- some staying behind to fight. Jace hated the angels... the council mostly. Angels where supposed to be gentle creatures. What would the humans think when they realize the angels were just as much a killing machine as a demon from hell? The council was the whole reason why Jace changed sides... they murdered his twin brother. All because he fell in love. One should be allowed to love freely-- so what if she was a demon? So what if she was the most beautiful girl Jace has ever seen (And Jace has been with some beautiful girls in his short life). Just the thought of the Angel Council made Jace want to kill more... hear people scream...
He lifted his glowing blue gaze from the white blanket of snow to a small cabin off in the distance. He saw a man tending to a goat and a woman watching him on the porch. The woman held a baby-- possibly only 3 years old-- and a small little girl stood beside her, slightly hiding behind the woman. Jace smirked, they wore bright clothes and seemed humbled-- they were humans... he could tell that... but they were on the angel's side. Jace chuckled to himself and retreived a dagger from his hilt. He threw it up a couple of times, always catching it by the blade then swiftly flung it with force. The dagger sped through the air, a good half a mile and plunged it's face into the skull of the baby in the woman's arms.
Jace tilted his head back and took a deep breath, relaxing to the sound of the woman's horrified screams. Jace could hear the father shoutting commands, telling his wife and remaining child to get inside. He grabbed a blade and ran inside with them when he saw Jace in the distance. Jace rolled his eyes, "As if you could hide from me, you pathetic humans..." he muttered and ran up the hill until he reached the porch. Jace grinned and kicked the door down. The little girl screamed and clung to her crying mother. The father growled and charged for Jace-- who smirked and merely lifted his hand, shocking the man to the ground and watching as he jerked. Jace stopped shocking the man and walked up to him, smiled his famous "badass" smile and took out his blade. In less than a second the blade in plunged into the mans throat.
The little girl screamed and ran to her father. Jace merely grabbed the small child by her throat and clenched tightly until he heard the cracking sound of her neck breaking. The little girl closed her eyes and Jace dropped her dead body without a care. Then.. he eyed the mother. She rested on her knees, hands held together and looking to the celing of the cabin-- praying to the angels. Jace made an irritated face and brushed his hair easily from his eyes, forcefully pulling his blade from her husband's neck and moving toward her. He knealed before her and kissed her cheek, slow and very intimidating-- brushing his lips to her ear and whispering, "Your angels won't help you..." and stabbed her, shoving hard until the base of the handle touched her stomach. She cried out and whispered to him, "Y--You.... B..bastard..." Jace smirked and twisted the blade in her body. She shreiked and leaned forward dead. Jace shoved her off of him and his blade and stood up, "Pitty... two kids-- very young... You must of been great in bed." he muttered, cleaning his blade on her dress, "Shouldn't of prayed to your angels... I could of showed you a good time." he laughed and glanced around at his work.

The mountains were cold, Yu found that out quickly. Mainly because he didn't have his coat for it was lost at the moment. Oh well, it's not like he'd die of it anyway. Well maybe he would, but perhaps it'd be better to die then with how the world was today. It's kind of sad how desperate people become during war, especially when it's not even a war with humans. The good part was that no matter how many battles he fell victim to, he never died. Or perhaps that was a bad thing because the pain usually lasted longer than being dead did. Not that any of that really mattered though.
Now that he thought about it, he didn't even remember why he came to the mountains in the first place. But of course he would need an excuse, because a little kid alone in the middle of the mountains is pretty suspicious. Well not really suspicious, more of just weird. Mainly because there weren't any adults with him. So he'd need some kind of excuse. Luckily the war would give him a liable excuse, his parents being killed and going up into the mountains to escape the violence. Though there also might be people that would look into it further which could get him into a bit of trouble. But oh well, life is boring without a bit of trouble.
As he went further up and snow began to pile up two things happened. One, he really wished he got a coat while he was in the city and a person showed up. 'Odd that there'd be a person up here... He though cocking his head. There was also a cabin that the man was standing in, it looked cozy and warm. After a long hike in the snow it looked really nice. Plus who knows, they might have a spare coat in there.
He got closer to the man and realized that the family members that inhabited the cabin were killed by the one living man there. Or at least that's what could be assumed saying the guy had a knife and blood on him. But it could be one of those cases in which the person that looks like the murderer isn't the murderer, but he doubted that. So does he do when he finds a person who's probably a psychopathic murderer? Talk to him of course!
"Do you do this every time you meet someone, or were these people special?" Yu chirped as he stepped a bit closer to the probably psychopath dude.

~Jace Demetri Rockler~no! no more sorrow! i've payed for your mistakes! ___________________________________________ Jace looked down upon the woman and smirked. It was a shame he got so angry with them-- to tell the truth it was a stupid reason to kill them. But who cares? It was his orders to wipe out as many angel followers as he could. He couldn't spare one and he wasn't going to spare one.
Suddenly a slight shuffling sounded behind him. For the moment, Jace stood still. He listened to the voice closely-- a male he was sure. Damn... and here he thought he was lucky that he might of missed another daughter. Jace frowned and turned around, slightly irritated that the one person to find him here just HAD to be a boy!? What luck! "No, it's a mission..." he muttered. Though even if it wasn't a mission he would of still killed these people the same way.
Jace laughed slightly at himself and returned his blade to his carrier at his side. He took a short moment to brush his long hair from his eyes and stare at the boy as if he were bored. Instantly, Jace took the kid for an idiot. Who comes out in the heavy snow with no coat? Jace smiled-- His twin brother Jeremy would... and there wasn't a day going by that Jace didn't think Jeremy was insane. His eyes locked with the boys-- slightly waiting for him to look back into his eyes so Jace could tramatize him for a few before killing him. It would be a fun thing to do-- kill the kid. But Jace was bored and was ready to just leave... but that would mean leaving a witness.... "I'm suprised you actually said something to me when you see three dead bodies before you..." he paused a moment to think, "Ah, and one dead baby outside." he chuckled at his work.

"No, it's a mission..."
Saying the area was primarily an angel sympathizing area this meant this guy was probably with the demons. That and the fact that the angels usually don't kill regular humans, but who knows. You shouldn't stereotype things because there might be a demon that goes around healing people and dancing in meadows and an angel that goes killing people setting their houses on fire. That and the fact that he had black wings, but you never know.
As the man turned around he looked bored. That's odd, the other people he'd talked to before after they killed someone always looked excited like they were on an adrenaline high, but he didn't. He just looked like he was standing in the line for an hour. It was peculiar. He even got a bit of blood on him but he still had that bored. Either he didn't have fun killing those people or he was disappointed that Yu was there. Both of which were unfortunate.
"Honestly I've seen worse. Usually just more bodies, and most people kill them the same way, it's usually easier anyway. I guess brutally murdering someone would take more time and then the other people you're going to murder could run away in that time so it'd be easier to just slit their throats. Whatever, none of that matters and you probably don't even care, right mister? Yu said looking at the man. He left out that usually he was killed by the people when he saw them on purpose. "Plus sometimes the people that are murderers are really nice."

~Jace Demetri Rockler~no! no more sorrow! i've payed for your mistakes! ___________________________________________ He only chuckled at the boys comment, "Heh, if Murderers are nice-- then I'm a fudge cake."
Jace laughed then and crossed his arms, finally taking time to examine the kid. He was around Jace's height-- a bit smaller. The kid was only slightly less built. Possibly not that much of a fighter? The one thing that really caught his attention was his eyes. Think about a person with black colored eyes. However it was opposite-- the iris was black and the pupil was white. Very odd-- then again Jace only payed attention to women so the feature didn't really matter much to him.
He shrugged slightly and sighed through his pale lips, "Welp!" he gasped, streching and still playing that smug and super bored look, "I'd better get goin'..." Jace muttered and walked passed the boy in an elegant way. His grace seemed very arrogant. It was almost as if he wasn't afraid that this kid could hurt him or something. Honestly, Jace just wanted to hit a club, find a girl, and head for a hotel. It was about time he'd get some entertainment-- how long has he been traveling? Three days now? Jace smiled as he reached the boy and patted his shoulder, "Take care of yourself, kay?" he said, laughing and heading out the door.
(this is Jace's way of putting attention on him. Leaving you and making you want to follow-- it's his way of tricking you and possibly getting you to help him.)

It was a bit chilly on the outside of Divinous but Charlie had to get away from the war that was happening in the city. Murders mainly happened there. At least that was what she thought when she heard a piercing scream of a women somewhere in the distance. Maybe I should go see. Of course these would be the thoughts that raced through her mind but something was nagging at her brain. Of course it was one of her past life memories.
It was much like it was now, snowy and cold. Charlie was walking more like prancing through what would be a vast open feild during the summer. She heard a scream, it was a women scream. Being the person she was she ran to the source of the scream... She may have been lost in memory but she was going through the same motions. Everything was tainted red. There was elven blood every where. Charlie was frozen. She could just stare at the four dead bodys. Yet there was one person still here, and someone leaving the scene with blood on them.
Charlie snapped back to what was right in front of her eyes. What she saw was no better she was looking through the window of a cottage where a male, female and a girl lay in it. Out front was the body of a small baby. Before she knew it she was storming out in front of the cottage and starring daggers at the leaving figure. "Hey!" it was one word but it held alot of Charlies held up anger from over centuries ago.

Yu looked at the man as he went away. Again another odd thing, usually he was killed at least once before they walked away, not many people like leaving witnesses around. It's not like the legal system was even that good now a days. Even with a witness he probably wouldn't get caught because this isn't even a fraction of all the crimes going on in Divinous. But he still might get into a bit of trouble with a witness running around the streets.
Yu looked at him and moved a bit closer. "But mister, I don't even know your name yet," he smirked. There were many confusing things about this man, or perhaps he was just nicer then the murderers he's dealt with in previous encounters. Or maybe his mission was to just kill those people and to leave innocent bystanders out of it. What ever it was, it didn't change the fact that he didn't attempt to kill Yu, which left Yu a bit empty inside and wanting to ask questions.
But, almost directly after Yu finished talking, another person came, this time female. This left a lot more questions left in Yu's head, but at least she acted naturally like a normal person would and not like he himself acted. But she probably had a bit of reckless courage in her somewhere, for if she was the normal cliché girl she probably wouldn't even come up here when she saw the man and just go back down to the even more violent city. Or perhaps she would have to find another hiding place for the whole world was rather violent as of now. But then again she probably isn't the normal cliché person now is she.
"Plus, now it seems like we have company," Yu smiled as he looked at the man and woman near him.

The man had not turned around but, there was the boy beside her that spoke. Charlie turned slightly to see that the boy that had spoken was speaking to the same person she was. He looked as if he was oddly confused about something. This made Charlie herself confused. What could be bothering him? She had to voice her opinions, of course. "What is a matter? You look rather confused about something." Charlie moved abit closer as she spoke so that she wouldn't have to talk to loudly. She stopped short of a couple of feet from the boy and just waited for either the man or the boy to answer Charlie. She was desperatley trying not to think of how much this reminded her of the little flash back that she had had just a few second ago. OOC: Ack, sorry that this is so short. I just don't have all that much muse.

~Jace Demetri Rockler~no! no more sorrow! i've payed for your mistakes! ___________________________________________ Jace growled quite angered as the boy ran after him, though it was quite funny. Jace just killed a whole family and the kid wanted his name? Very odd-- but Jace decided to give it to him anyways, "It's Jace. Jace Rockler... is that all--?" then suddenly knifes flew at him. Jace stayed put as none of them even striked him. He sighed heavily, taking on the bored expression of a child having to sit and watch his mother put shoes on for 3 hours.
He decided to turn and face the girl who thought it was wise to try and attack him. She'd best be lucky she was a girl or he would of crushed the chick's head like he was smashing a watermellon. He kept the bored look on his face as he absently dug into his pocket, extracting a pack of cigs. Jace tapped one out easily and put the pack away, "Sorry sweetheart, I don't go for the aggressive types." he smirked and took a moment lighting his cig. He glanced at the boy and took a long... VERY long drag on his cig. Smoke filled Jace's mouth, making him close his eyes seeming relaxed. In this drag he thought about that little angel he stopped from falling. The thought made him laugh-- what was her name? Juliet...-- she was a clumsy little thing and not at all the fighting type. Jace ran his eyes over the girl that stood by the odd boy. She was a fighter-- and sure Jace would find her fun... for only a few moments. He would garentee her that he wouldn't be with her for more than a solid hour before ditching her. Jace chuckled and blew out the smoke.
The girl turned to that kid and asked him why he was so confused. Jace rolled his eyes seeming annoied, why was he still here? Jace sighed, "Not that this isn't the best time of my effing life but... I got places to be... Angel Followers to kill. You get the picture..." Jace muttered and turned his back to them, throwing a lazy peace sign over his shoulder to them and taking another drag of his cig as he attempted to leave-- AGAIN!
(Lolz, I say we irriate Jace xD )

(that may be interesting. I will try my best! ) Charlie rolled her eyes and looked up at the man that was named Jace. "Well good. Because I am not interested." Charlie did not care wether or not that this would just egg him on or anything else but she didn't care. All she had wanted to know was why he had killed that family. But she had gotten her answer in his last statement. "So I take it that you are the 'kill any one who even seems like a angel follower'?" Charlie was getting mad now but as usual she kept her face free of emotions. Although it was hard considering she was getting thoughts from Jace. He was a player that much was evident from his thoughts. But there was something that made all of his killings of angel followers strange. He himself was an angel. Charlie knew this from his thoughts. She didn't know how she got it from him so clearly, after all that was not even what he was thinking about. But it was underneath and Charlie was sort of prying in his mind. Just to find out what was wrong with him.

~Jace Demetri Rockler~no! no more sorrow! i've payed for your mistakes! ___________________________________________ Jace eyed Charlie with a curious glance-- noticing how she was looking at him with consentration. He chuckled and took another drag on his cig, "Not interested, huh?" he smiled to himself, "You'd be the first. Just ask around town-- I'm sure you'll find many satisfied costumers." he eyed her again and shrugged, "But I guess you would already know that, wouldn't you? Just fair warning, sweetheart, I wouldnt pry my thoughts. There's some things you'd best stay away from..." Jace thought about it more clearly then-- really his mind was like a constant porno of his last relations and thr thought of her going through his throughts made him rethink her not being any fun, "Unless..." he continued, "You like that kind of stuff-- I mean, Hey! I'm down, ya know?" he laughed then and took another drag.

Shutting her eyes Charlie slammed up her mental walls that alowed her to not hear peoples thoughts. "No it's not my type of thing. I was just morbidly curious as to why an angel was killing angel followers." She knew that this was dangerous water to tread but she just couldn't help herself from being so well rude towards Jace. It was something that just came. Charlie tried and failed for the first time to wipe her emotions off of her face. But she was so annoyed that she simply couldn't. Charlie had a few images stuck on her mind so she brought her hands up over her eyes and squinted her eyes shut. Trying deseperatley to get the images from Jaces mind off of her mind. She really did not need his memories along with her long list of painful memories. Sometimes they made her want to just choose a side already but then somethine always happened that made her think again about what would happen if she had given over to the demon side. Why must things be so confusing?

~Jace Demetri Rockler~no! no more sorrow! i've payed for your mistakes! ___________________________________________ Jace took another drag and watched her carefully, "I could tell you why straight up-- it's not like it's secret or anything..." he shrugged and thought over his past, frowing at the memories. His brother and himself going to Earth, fighting demons, finding that hot chick Sophia, becomming demons... so many things that brought him to where he was and he had everything to show for it....
"My parents hated me and my brother. So we came to Earth for a bit-- found some demons and told them we wanted to be on their side." he took a drag and sighed, "That's where I met this sweetheart-- Sophia. Real Hot-- I'm talkin' innocence with an evil side. Well... she tested out powers out-- took us to the Demon Lord. Then Bam! He was interested.. But over the time on Earth my brother fell in love with Sophia. But he got busted by the angels and was killed for loving a demon. I hated the angels then... and joined the demons. The demon lord told me I had to kill my ties in Heaven-- that'd be my mom, dad, and little sister. So I did it... no questions asked. I kill angel followers because I hate them and because it's my duty."

She simple did nothing but stared. She really hadn't been expecting an answer like that. Charlie had no idea what to do. She knew that he probably would get mad if she was like 'I am so sorry'. But then again she wasn't. She wasn't really feeling anything except for maybe pride that a demon was doing what he was suppose to be doing. This just showed how close Charlie was to choosing the demon side. "I really have no answer. I am not going to pity you after all it was your duty to kill your family. But I just have one simple question. Was it hard to pick the demon side?" Charlie fully knew that her face blocks had slipped all of her emotions splayed across her face, confustion at her choice, curiosity about Jace. But most of all calm. She was calm despite the fact that there were four dead bodies. Yet somewhere deep down she was still not quite trusting Jace. She let this be shown in her eyes. She always had a hard time truting people. It was always the same no matter what side they were on. Or if they were on one at all. OOC: Blah! Muse is dangerously close to none!

~Jace Demetri Rockler~no! no more sorrow! i've payed for your mistakes! ___________________________________________ Jace smiled at her, slowly walking toward her as he took a long drag on his cig, "Was it hard?" he asked her, repeating her question as if trying to intimidate her. He shook his head and threw his cig to the ground, stepping on it and moving close to Charlie, his piercing blue eyes staring into hers. He was so close that his breath brushed aganist her lips, "No.." he whispered in a thick voice, "It's not hard at all. Me? I had a strong hate for Angels-- so my choice was easier then the blink of an eye."
He chuckled lightly and brushed Charlie's hair from her face, gently shifting it behind her ear and letting his fingers linger on her cheek, "For you? It could be easy... you have no ties to heaven I assume-- so what have you to fight aganist?" He smiled and tapped out another cig, letting it linger in his left hand. He watched her for a moment and looked down at her lips, "The only hard part about choosing the demons..." he whispered to her, moving a bit closer, his lips almost touching hers, "is the pain of changing into one of them.." and with that said he stepped away from her and lit his cig, turning his back and taking a drag as he returned to the wall he was leaning aganist.
