Hi there, my name is Brit and I am 22 years old living in San Dimas, California. I am returning to role playing after about eight months break but have been role playing for about 13 years.
I enjoy things like reading, photography, writing my novel, playing Warcraft, fish keeping, and Irish dancing. I am between colleges and jobs and enjoying my time not having to work after moving back into my parents house.
I have two dogs (akitas), one cat, a desert tortoise, an iguana, and many fish.
If I could be anything I wanted to be (in real life) I would be a shapeshifting elven vampire. ;D
Nice to meet all of you.

: O You an Irish Dancer?! Omigod that's so cool! I wish I could be am Irish dancer (or River dancer right?) yet I can only play Celtic music. v.v Well, saying I am Irish does that mean I get extra points. (Double points points for red hair?) If you're Irish too that means we get 4 times the points, and if you have red hair too 10 times the points. > And if anyone else is Irish, 100 times the points :3

And technically it would be Irish dance. Asking someone if they river danced would be like asking a ballet dancer if they swan laked. But Riverdance is awesome and I am SO totally going to see their last shows here in LA when they come around for their last tour. Can't wait. Oh, and just a shout out for some school pride... I dance for Painter Larson Academy of Irish Dance aka PLAID. I don't compete, yet. I'm a late-starter that spend most of her youth in ballet without access to a nearby Irish dance school. ...and I do find it hard to shut-up when it comes to dance. Haha. It's great meeting all of you. Note: Sorry for being a spaz, I JUST got back from dance class so I still have all that adrenaline going through my system. Good stuff!

Woohoo~ I'm Irish and Welsh too~ I'm also some English in there too.... and other stuff but that doesn't matter. x3
xDD Sorry, I don't know dance terms at all. x3 I have a few dancer friends, so they'd be able to talk to you about this stuff better then I would : P
Lol plaid xDD
And it's okay that you can't shut up about it. x3 I'm sure I can't shut up about some things too when I talk about them for too like/
You're the complete opposite of me who just came back from band camp and now I'm dead.

Don't worry about dance terms. My mom talks to me about her ceramics class and I can't figure out have the stuff she's trying to tell me. What instrument(s) do you play?

I only play flute I wanna learn violin but I'd have to find a teacher and get the instrument. And I'm pretty busy right now so I'd rather do other stuff then learn violin. Perhaps next summer.

Yeah I'm kind of there too. Except I own both the instruments, lost interest in one after a few years and need to get a job to afford lessons for the other. Unless I can get into the college class that teaches piano for beginners, that would be awesome.

That's cool. I'm just in high school but I know they have a guitar class along with regular concert band. We don't have strings at our school so I'd have to find a private teacher to teach me violin. So what other instrument do you play besides piano?

I used to play the drums in my punk rocker high school days. Right now my kit is collecting dust under the stairs. Before then, middle school, I took up alto sax for band. I hated it, and since I was failing anyway I just decided I wouldn't bring my sax to class anymore and nap for the hour instead. The teacher quit caring at that point. Neither of my schools allowed stringed instruments.
I want to learn piano, violin, harp, and maybe clarinet* as well as get back with the drums and anything else I can get my hands on. *I'm still iffy with the reed instruments (sax experience.)

Woow... I wanna learn another instrument but I hate reeds and our brass people are really annoying so I don't want to be in the same section as them. So I happily stick with my flute, and occasionally piccolo if need be/I want to make the people who are near me ear's hurt~
My cousin used to play harp, it was always pretty sounding but they're also expensive so it'd be harder to persuade my parents to buy me one x3. I can't even make a sound out of reed instruments so don't feel bad.

lol, the brass kids at when I was in band were annoying too. What's up with that, between bawdy jokes about their trombone(rs) and their inappropriate sound effects...

The trumpets are more annoying then the trombones at my school, but I can't really explain how they're bad... they just are. And don't even get me started on the sousaphones!
