• A scar across his back from his right shoulder to left hip, inflicted when he was human with a knife by one of his captures.
• A raven tattoo starting on the top of his back left shoulder blade, and going up over his shoulder, slightly down his arm, and slightly onto his chest.

Appearance: Shearen is on the taller side, but certainly not one of the tallest. He's lean, muscular, and in clearly good shape. His hair is a dark brown, near black, and his eyes an almost ghostly gray, they're so pale. He himself is somewhat pale in skin tone. He has a scar across his back, and the tattoo of a raven on his left shoulder. He tends to dress in lighter clothing, and darker colors.

Personality: Shearen was once a humble man. He lead a very simple life, with no strings attached, and was not power-hungry or greedy at all. Things changed however when he became the Grim Reaper, and for a good chunk of time, he became malicious and sadistic. Cruel, cold, and uncaring, he focused solely on what he wanted, and what would benefit him. He was certainly not a kind person, and did not care much that he wasn't. He served Fál willingly.

Time passed though, and the demons came to Divinous. It was the first time since he'd been killed that he'd returned to the city. He came to realize how much he changed, upon visiting his old home. Shearen now is rather reserved, and drawn in. He doesn't like to socialize, and often times appears bored, or simply emotionless. He has no interest in power, cruelty, or anything of the sort. He grudgingly follows Fál's orders, no longer interested in serving, but too powerful a servant to be let go of.

• When he touche someone, he has the ability to sort of 'feel their soul,' and get a sense of what kind of person they are. However, he prefers not to do this. At the same time, this also makes him slightly empathetic, though it's much stronger when he's in contact with the person. He can't really discern people's emotions though, merely make assumptions upon what he himself feels as a result. Most of the time, it's generally just a good or bad feeling, nothing specific.

• I Am A Product of My Past •

History: Shearen was not always a demon. Years ago he was human. He lived in a small cottagewith his wife, Arianna. He was a blacksmith in Divinous, and he and Arianna were barely able to get by on the meager pay that the man received. So Shearen took to gambling and dealing in drugs and such to provide for more money, especially since now, his wife was with a child.

He got in a tight spot with some men who wanted their money. Money he didn't have, and couldn't give them. The guy she owed beat him up pretty badly. He was unconscious for more then a day, and woke up chained to a wall, still with the thugs. They offered him a chance to earn the money for them, and he took it. It was a simple job, just a theft, and with the help of another, he retrieved what was asked of him, and paid off his debt.

However, this had taken over a week. He hadn't had a chance to contact his wife. Arianna thought he'd run off on her, for he'd disappeared just a couple days or so after she told him she was pregnant. She couldn't afford the house, for she had no job, and was forced to sell it. She was going to move in with his sister, and left the next day.

Shearen returned home to find her gone, and a new couple living in his home. When they told him Arianna had left, he lost himself. He killed the two in cold blood, and destroyed as many of their possessions and parts of the house as he could before the guards got ahold of him. He was tried, and hung for murder.

Sent to Hell, he found himself face to face with the Demon King. The man offered him a deal. Instead of being sent to Hell, he would become the King's soul ferrier. He would bring the dead souls to the underworld, mainly the ones the King truly wanted... Shearen accepted the job, seeing this as a chance to see Arianna again.

He had no idea that she'd been murdered on her move to the next city, where her sister lived. When he discovered this, he spent years on a search for the men who did it. When at last he found them, he killed them, and dragged their souls to Hell.

As time progressed, he dealt with his job. But when the demons invaded Divinous, he'd had enough, and asked for the contract to be severed. He would die, if this happened, but he considered himself already dead. The King refused, not wanting to loose a powerful servant.
