Um, this is my audition piece as the owner of Heart Petal. So, um, here.
Height: Five foot four
Weight: One hundred and three pounds
Scars/Markings: + She has a piercing on her left ear.
Appearance: Don't judge a book by its cover. This may be nothing more than a cliche to most, but it's the truth when it comes to Elaine, also known as Elle. Being of petite structure and pale complexion, people often underestimate her and mistake her as a teenager, when in fact, she's nearly in her thirties. Not only that, but she also always wears loose fitting clothes, which make her seem smaller and hide her well-defined body and wiry yet strong muscles.
Other than mistaking her for being a teenager, they also often compare her to one of the nobility. Or that of a vampire, which isn't that far off. She has sharp facial features, much like those of an aristocrat. She also has well-kept hair, which is unusual in the lower district, as beings here don't care for grooming as much as living another day. Her long brown hair, which fall in ringlets, accentuate her big innocent, almond shaped stormy grey eyes. She also wears a silver earring shaped like a cross with a red stone in the middle in her left ear, something that seems to be of high value; and a black leather choker with a silver cross similar to her earring at its center. Looking as she does right now, it's no wonder that people make those mistakes, but those who know her know that underneath that young seemingly well-off lady is a fierce and deadly woman ready to strike.

Strengths: + She has deadly accuracy. She never misses her target if she locks on to one.
+ She can cook well. She has to, since she does own the restaurant.
+ She can lie well. She has to, to keep the refuge safe from those who wish it harm.
Weaknesses: + She cannot fight in close combat. Thus she always keeps her enemies away from her by all means necessary.
+ She has difficulty to show her emotions, especially anger, which makes her temper a very dangerous thing.
+ She has difficulty trusting others. She may seem like she does, but she holds everything that happens over their heads if need be.
Likes: + Her familiar, Ralph.
+ Cooking
+ Keeping the restaurant and refuge clean.
Dislikes: + Troublesome customers.
+ Being in war.
+ Being in constant fear due to the war.
Personality: MISLEADING. Elle is a very confusing person. She is full of opposites, yet both sides are truly her. She can be very misleading, which usually means that she isn't trustworthy, but that isn't it. She has to be so that she can throw off people into thinking that there is nothing wrong with her business, especially to angels and demons who can be a tad fanatic about their cause. In order to keep peace and stay out of trouble, she would do any means necessary to keep it, including lying through her teeth and possibly killing the threat.
MOTHERLY. Even though she can be very deceiving, she is also very motherly. She cares for those who are injured and tormented by the ongoing war. She gives off a very calming feel, a motherly feel, as she takes care of her customers both in the restaurant and the refuge. No one would be able to believe that she can be a very threatening person if she has too, since she doesn't give that feel, only a calming, caring feel, making her quite well-loved and well-trusted.
CONFIDENT. She is confident, in the way she carries herself, the way she talks, in the way she does things. This type of confidence can be very misleading, because even though she is in fact very scared, she can keep acting as if nothing is wrong and that she can manage it, even though she knows otherwise.
SOFT-SPOKEN. Even though she is confident, she doesn't have to speak in a loud manner. She is known for talking in a calm, cool, collected manner with a soft spoken voice. She never really raises her voice; she doesn't need to since people would listen to her due to her confident and motherly persona.

Abilities: + She has a familiar, a black wolf she calls Ralph. Ralph, in his normal form, looks just like a normal wolf, other than the fact it's black. When he feels that his master is threatened, he grows into a giant wolf, standing about four and a half feet on all his paws; and about seven feet if he stands on his two hind legs. He is seen by his master's side all the time and a growl from him usually ends the trouble in the restaurant, much to Elle's glee.
+ She can control blood as long as there is free blood, or blood that is flowing out of the body, in the vicinity. She usually cuts herself up to get blood, until she is able to cut another victim, in which she will use their blood instead.
+ Quick regeneration. All minor injuries heal in no time at all, so all her scratches leave no mark on her skin. Deeper, more deadly wounds take longer, but it's relatively faster than others to heal.
+ Quick reflexes. Due to her vampire blood and training, she has fast reflexes and quick reaction time, so she can move away from the trouble and fight the way she knows how to.
+ Enhanced senses. Due to her vampire blood again. She has enhanced senses, especially eyesight, which contribute to her accuracy.
Weapons: + She has two daggers attached to holsters on her wrists.
+ She has two pistols at her waist.
+ She has a pack of bullets near her buttocks on the same belt as her pistols.

History: An unlucky product of lust of Lord Blanc and a random whore he found on the streets. All that matters to him is that she is pretty and rather strong; his requirements for receiving his seed. She was killed afterwards, when Elle was born. Elle was about to be killed too, but her vampire, or rather dhampir status stopped him from doing so. He wanted a worthy heir, an heir that showed vampire powers. A male heir that showed powers like him. Instead, he got Elle, a female offspring who barely showed any powers. Well, it was better than her other siblings who don't show any powers at all. That's why she was spared from being murdered like her mother, like her step-mothers, like her half-siblings.
She grew up learning to use her powers, powers to control blood, a special power passed down in the Blanc family. Well, those who received the vampire powers of course. She grew up learning how to be both a noble and a servant at the same time. She had to learn to be a noble since her father wants her to be the heir, even though he keeps trying to get a decent heir. And since he is getting a decent heir, she had to learn how to be a servant.
As she was growing up, she saw how the war affected people, especially since he's part of the demon side. She saw all the torture they put their victims through, both who belong with the angels, and those who don't belong to either side at all. She hated it, and when she finally got tired, she attacked. It was a massacre in the manor. She killed them all, with the help of her familiar, who she summoned by accident while doing the massacre.
As she became the Lady of the Blanc family and the heir to its fortune, she used that fortune to find a way to help those who were like her, victims of the war. She opened up Heart Petal, letting it become a refuge behind the restaurant facade.
