[I'll Apologise in advance for how awful this opening is... never been good at setting the scene] < Before the Lake >Malice had awoken abruptly to the sound of the door violently crashing open in his chamber, the clatter of two guards armour as it hit the stone floor send an echoing crash throughout the room, in seconds his robe thrown on his half crown was mounted neatly on his head and his sword was tied to his waist, As he stood his palm resting on the hilt he waited for whoever or whatever it was that made the noise to come forth. He need only wait for a second as the lumbering brute entered the room, it dwarfed Malice by at least several foot in almost every dimension. It was indeed an it, a demon no less, probably got into the castle through the summoning chamber in the dungeons. Malice's left eye brow raised slowly as he measured up the brute, this was just a low ranking rouge in his opinion most demons knew of and respected the pact that he had with Fál, the Demon king and so didn’t come into his castle without at least an invitation or purpose and they definitely didn’t cause damage to things he owned. In the short space of time that these thoughts passed through his mind he had already figured that it would be profitable to fight this demon, only because demons didn’t only have their souls they had other peoples as well. " What do you want ?" Malice asked in an almost mocking tone, not even bothering to make eye contact. All Malice got in return was an almost incomprehensible grunt before it lunged at him luckily Malice was already three moves ahead of him and before the demon had got half way across the room he had already drawn his blade and using his bone craft had already elongated the sword, fuelling it with the bones from his own arm. The demon hadn't seen it coming and was skewered on the blade; this would have been the end of the matted if it were not a demon, Malice then spread the area of sword that had entered the demon so that it eventually stuck its legs to the ground and left its arms useless. Malice released his grip on the sword and began to slowly walk towards the demon; leaping onto his sword he stared into the eyes of the demon and began extracting the souls within. A light red mist passed from the eyes, nose and mouth of the demon into Malice's mouth, he dropped gracefully from the sword and turned his back on the demon as it fell limp and began to decay, he grabbed his sword and shortened it again re-inserting it into its hilt. He needed time to reflect on what had happened, it was not normal for demons to be so careless and unpredictable in there attack on him, he knew that his rule was not wanted by more than half the population of Divinous, all the angles and even some demons. So to reflect on what happened he left the castle and headed for Cardol Lake. < At The Lake >The day would have been unbearably hot if it were not for the cooling presence of the wind, as it swept his hair around while he stared into the lake; This lake in his opinion was the only thing worth keeping, the rest of the world had to be destroyed then built up in his image it was the only way to save the souls of the population... this idea amused him, the idea of his long term plan to actually save souls when he was essentially eating them to fuel his own life, He smiled and went back to watching the water ripple. It was not unusual for him to leave the castle but this time since he had been furious with the guards had forbid any of them from following him.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ when you walk away, you don't hear me say "please... oh, baby-- don't go."___________________________________________ Juliet forcefully pushed her way through the hovering branches and vines. Behind her ran a couple of demons that she was sure was long behind her. However then were still on the hunt so she needed to think fast. Juliet looked around and, her eyes estimating weather the clearing she ran into would be large enough for this attack. Even though her mind was set on getting these demons away from her-- she found this forest to be beautiful... and she didn't want to destroy it. It seemed to her that the clearing was large enough, the most that would happen to the forest was that the tips of the plants that were at the very edge of the clearing would burn; but only the edges so Juliet felt content with that.
She ran to the center of the clearing, her steps sounding strangly faint. Her body turned to face where she was running from as she fanned her hands out, "Summoning Cards of the Spirts-- I command thy!" She called as if talking to the Heavens. In the same moment, 8 glass cards surrounded her. Their colors representing the 8 different founding elements that graced this world. The cards were clear, with those faint colors and silver colored runes of these elements were carved into them. They shimmered their glittery colors in the sun and started to glow at Juliet's command, "Gatherest before me and unleash thine power!" the cards seemed to explode with power as a glowing ring blasted out and formed along the ground of the clearing. Juliet opened her eyes-- their once baby blue color glowing brilliantly, The demons had reached the clearing and made the mistake of stepping into her magic circle.
"Oh god of healing bless those that bow before you. Grant me the power to see thine enemies through!" Juliet cried out, the winds aggressivly blowing her long pale blonde hair around her, "Judgement!" she cried out and the circle exploded, rays of light seeming to come from the heavens and totally wipping out the demons in one move. The magic circle and the cards faded and Juliet fell to her knees, tired from the mass of energy she used up. This power was the strongest of her cards when you use them all together-- however the energy could kill you. At least that's what her brother said. He knew Juliet was small and probably couldn't protect herself so when he created her cards he intended them to be strong.
Juliet panted, listening to her surroundings intently. She needed a place to calm herself... something like a lake to settle her emotions. As a young angel she never got a chance to settle her emotions-- they still go out of wack when they feel like it. Even right now, the pain of her energy loss hurt her so much that clear tears flowed down her pale baby doll face. In the distance she could faintly hear the faint rippling of a lake. She smiled to herself slightly and pushed herself up onto her feet, walking in that direction. Her small legs felt weak-- maybe she shouldn't of done that spell and just fight short hand? Whatever, they were gone and she was alive. That's all that mattered.
Once she reached the edge of the area that surrounded the lake, a sound of more demons sounded. Juliet gasped and turned around, her foot hitting a root and causing her to fall backwards onto the lush grass. Juliet gasped in suprise, her body starting to ache more than ever now. She opened her eyes and looked to one side of her-- the lakes side. All she could see was the edge of the lake, her pale blode hair fanned out like a white river, and a man... sitting by the lake. Juliet trembled in fear of this man-- because he wasn't just ANYBODY, he was King of Divinous... Malice...

Malice had been enjoying the serenity of the lake, it was about the only small amount of peace and quiet he got between the soul eating, the attempts on his life and taking over the world. He was enjoying it, that was until he heard a faint voice shouting in the distance, it seamed to come from somewhere in the forest but reasonably close by, he could have investigated it but decided none the less to ignore it. This would have kept up if it were not for the sky seaming to erupt with a light almost like a lightning bolt but far, far bigger, he placed his hand on his sword and tensed up a little... he had already been attacked by a demon today, adding an angel would not surprise him much. He waited, but after a minute or two he relaxed, if they were after him he'd have been hit by now... still he thought nothing like being to safe and with this he doubled the mass of bones he had in his body ready to be defensive or offensive. It was just after this, when he had almost returned to his calm state that a girl, a pretty one at that stumbled from the forest falling backwards, it almost appeared to be in slow motion due to intern to her hair being overly dramatic in the wind. It was then that she looked over, he could see it in her eyes everyone was the same, that split second of fear before the masquerade rose... He noticed that she didn’t get up and looked a little weak... he hated civilisation but maybe she was worth saving... the probability was infinitesimal but still there, with that he rose and began to walk towards her at a slow pace his right hand on the hilt of his sword and the left casually in his pocket, his head held high. [ Sorry its not as big as the first one this is about the size my posts are i can try and expand if you like ]

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ when you walk away, you don't hear me say "please... oh, baby-- don't go."___________________________________________ Juliet held her breath, realizing he had seen her. Maybe it wasn't that hard-- in her mind she faintly remembered a time when her brother was training her to use her new weapons. He asked to her hide and when he found her they would fight. Alexander found her in no time at all, 'Geez Jules...' he had said to her, 'You're hair's so white you stick out like a sore thumb. I thought you being tiny would hide you better...'
She blinked, her mind comming back to reality. Malice was standing now. Juliet fearfully pushed herself up into a sitting position, her head tilting slightly as if she was dizzy and very weak. She faced Malice as he started walking toward her. His posture making her scared. Perhaps he figured her small size wasn't a threat like the other demons think. Maybe he thought he could take her out in mere seconds. Juliet was sure of that, but just to be on the safe side she moved herself back a few inches and moved her hands in front of her in a protective position. If she was going to die here then she wouldn't allow him to slice her face or her neck. Alexander always told her that when she knew she was going to die, she'd better die with honor in herself. "Don't EVER let your enemy cut your face before death... have respect for yourself." Alex had said.
More fear awakened in her and without her realizing it, her wings sprouted from her back. Just like her size they were slightly small to most people. However, to Juliet they were large. The feathers of her wings were a pure white, with a slight glittery shimmer to them. In the sunlight the glittered seemed to make the wings glow and reveal a slight rainbow of color. Juliet trembled as her wings hovered over her in a slight protective way, like a mother sheltering her newborn child.

Malice was surprised; she evidently knew who he was yet she defied him. She was attempting to defend her self, it was odd, none ever did that, she wasn’t hiding her hate or fear of him at all this situation was looking up already. He was mere meters away when it happened, her wings almost erupted from her back like the light from the sky, Malice was almost mesmerised by the beauty of it, which was until it clicked, she had caused the massive flash from the sky. He leapt back and raised his left hand allowing bones to erupt from his skin to form a shield in front of him, As his blood ran down the shield he braced him self for whatever the light was, but when nothing happened he raised his head over shield to take a look the wings hovered over her in a protective manner, like a beast with a mind of its own sheltering its young. When nothing happened he retracted all the bones and watched as the wounds turned to dust and blew away in the slight breeze, he looked at his robe in disgust, he had just put several holes through it… this thing cost as much as several houses. That matter could wait though, “Please, I’m not here to hurt you… apparently contrary to your belief” It took him all his might and lessons in civility to keep calm and play a believable masquerade, he reached out and almost dared to brush past the wings… they looked expensive but instead at the last moment offered the arm with the tattered sleeve to her, his right palm still in light contact with hilt of his sword. This could be an eerie silence, if she decided not to take his hand he would seam rather foolish, if she decided to attack he could very well loose his arm, it had been a while since he fed but he could probably push a limb and a life before feeding again.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ when you walk away, you don't hear me say "please... oh, baby-- don't go."___________________________________________ Juliet's wings trembled slightly as Malice suddenly jumped back. Now that her wings were out, it was easy to that that Juliet's hands went from hovering in front of her face in a protective manner to covering her eyes as if she were crying. Her wings cradled her slightly. She wondered what Malice was doing. Her spread her fingers only enough for her to peak through, all she could make out where his legs and some sheild thingy. Did he realize she was the creator of that massive explosion earlier? Great-- now she knew she was going to die.
She closed her fingers again so all she could see was darkness and the faint elegant swirls on her palms. To her suprise-- a few moments later Malice actually spoke to her. "Please, I’m not here to hurt you..." he said to her. In responce, Juliet's wings opened up a bit more, the sun's light shinning down on her as if it was a spotlight. She wasn't sure weather to respond to him or to just stay quiet. Her decision was to stay quiet.
And once again, Malice suprised her. He came close to her, and his hand gently brushed past her wings. They fluttered slightly in responce, as if the touch made her feel cold. She spread her fingers again to look at his hand, it was just there as if it was the safest gesture in the world. Shyly, Juliet let her wings open slightly as she took his hand. Her own touch was light and gentle. It was hard to believe a girl with such a fragile grasp could possibly cause such a big explosion. In the light, something shinned on her wrists. There was a swirling network of lines on her wrists and also on her palms. There were a few pointed stars and the swirls on her wrists twisted up to her shoulders. They glittered imensly in silver. They were runes-- in the form of a tattoo so no one would really notice them as a threat but a decoration. The runes must of helped her with her powers-- to make them stronger. Some may think a tattoo would make one look more mature... stronger looking. Not Juliet-- she still had that same innocent and fragile apperance.
Her wings opened up wide, revealing her whole body. She was wearing what looked like a small white dress-- nothing fancy just a simple dress that ruffled just above her knees. On her ankles and flowing slightly onto her feet were the same rune tattoos from her wrists. These didn't go up her leg though, it appeared more like a huge anklet. Her face seemed gentle, with slight fear in her crystal blue eyes-- frammed with a thick array of black lashes as long as mosts boys. She was pale-- but there was a faint blush to her skin. It made her look like a child-- younger than a child even. Her eyes didn't seem to make the apperance anymore mature looking, they were wide and the pupils were huge in an innocent manner like the rest of her-- with her hair fluttered around her like a white curtian that waved toward the ends. "Promise?" she asked shyly, her voice sounding like a light little bell.

Malice took her hand and helped her up ignoring the decoration… it was too shiny for his liking, once she was on her feet he noticed how pretty she was but was able to snap his eyes from staring at her, in actual fact most of the angels he had met… and indeed devoured were dazzling, I guess because of the circumstances he had more than a split second to take the appearance of his company into account. Angels really were almost the most perfect creatures in existence… unlike humans they had no physical flaws and unlike demons size didn’t mean or determine strength… this also meant that he had to be careful here, he knew that she was powerful, perhaps even powerful enough for him to have to think twice about before fighting. Of course she was tiered he could see it in her eyes and the way she stood. But he had no such desire so the thoughts were just a defence. “I promise” He said coldly while smiling, he hadn’t smiled in a while so had no idea weather it was a warm comforting smile or a cold fake smile, he didn’t need to smile when addressing the public so hadn’t practiced much.
As she stood there almost admiring her that he remembered what was going on, the colossal explosion, the stumbling from the woods and the fact that she seamed frightened. “Please i beg your pardon if this appears to forward, but that explosion, it was you was it not… Which means there is trouble, now I am not one to pick sides so soon, but you appear to be in distress and so I offer my assistance” He was still talking in an almost cold but hopefully comforting manner. He knew that this would be a shock and to most that really knew him was completely out of character but if he could perhaps persuade her to think that everything she heard or thought she knew were just awful rumours, then perhaps, just maybe he could get her to share with him her power and in the end be of some use to him. It had come to the point now that he didn’t care that he was using people for his own personal gain, he had does so since he was thirteen and had in fact gotten quite good at it with that he awaited her reply. It was only then that he realised that he had been holding her hand the entire time and so quickly dropped it and thanks due in part to his pale complexion and the fact that it was an accident he was able to retain his cool air and not blush, and placed his left and on the hilt of his blade while his right hand inspected the damage done to his robe, it was then he knew it was done for and he would have to get another one made, his almost glowing emerald eyes stared into the forest searching for anything that moved.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ put me to sleep, evil angel... why can't i breathe, evil angel?___________________________________________ She stared at him for a long moment. Was he SERIOUS? Was she dreaming? Juliet took a moment to recall the scratches across her back-- still slightly bleeding since they were done only a few moments ago. She shivered and glanced over her left shoulder, wondering where the demons must be. Would Malice really help her? He did help her off the ground-- that was a start. And he didn't blow her to bits when her angel wings sprouted-- that was a plus. Maybe he was just misunderstood? Juliet figured she'd take on her usual personality-- openminded. She wasn't going to judge him unless he betrayed the little trust she had in him right now.
There was a growl in the forst that ripped so loudly, Juliet quickly moved behind Malice in fear. She trembled slightly and gently had her hands rested on his forearm, peaking around him. She blushed as she felt the muscles of his arm and let go-- feeling uncomfortable. The growling ripped again and Juliet totally fell silent, her once heavy breathing wasn't even heard anymore.
Juliet sighed, realizing she would have to fight. Maybe she could just do that huge explosion again... but she would pass out. She closed her eyes and looked down-- no.. a judgment ray should wipe them out quickly. Juliet fanned her hand out, "I call upon the maiden of the heavens, the goddess of healing..." she muttered lightly in her little bell voice. In that instant, a glass card appeared in her hand. They shimmered with a white aura around them glowing slightly in gold. Juliet continued to look down. What if Malice realizes she is the girl the Demon Lord, Fal, was looking for? She bit her lip and trembled, her wings fluttering slightly as she bent down, creating that protective form around her and Malice.

Malice heard the roaring from the forest, he sighed and feigned interest, turning his head so that he was looking into the forest in the area of where the sound came from. He was about to take action when she moved round the other side and lay her are on his forearm it was tensed on the hilt of his blade, she must be uncomfortable because that was the fastest he had seen her move since he’d seen her. He was about to draw his sword when he saw and felt her wings come round them, this was a nice gesture but now he could not see where the noise was coming from… Which was getting rather loud. He used his right arm to brush her wings aside gently just in time to see another hulking brute lunge from the forest.
He pushed of from while drawing his sword as soon as he hit the ground his shoulder blades erupted so that his back was spiked and protected, he held his sword out and called, ”What the hell do you want!, don’t you know who the fuck I am !”He had reverted to his usual cold voice. He awaited there reply [ill let you do that], and as he waited he glanced over his shoulder to make sure the girl was ok… and not going to kill him.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ put me to sleep, evil angel... why can't i breathe, evil angel?___________________________________________ The demons gasped, realizing who they had come across. There were four of them, and they all looked angry. The tallest was only staring at Juliet, "We're sorry, your Majesty. But we were given strict orders to bring one--" the demon paused and pulled a picture from his back pocket, glancing at the words on the back, "--Juliet Yvein Vimir..." he then looked at the picture. Juliet tensed and gripped her cards untill her already pale skin seemed white. There was a girl and a boy in the picture. The girl looked fairly young... a 10 year old that looked 5. She had angelic pale blonde hair that only reached her chest and a smile that would make your in-laws say "awww!". The boy seemed much older, like he was 15. He had the girl on his back. He wasn't like the girl, he seemed more regal and strong. The smile on his face didn't matter, it was easy to see he was a fighter.
"This is the girl I'm looking for-- and here she is with you." the demon muttered, "Now then, we will take the girl and be on our way." "Oris.." another demon said to the taller one, "Must you be so rude to his Majesty." "We have a duty to our Demon Lord... and he wants this girl. End of story." Oris said simply and flashes his hand out, "Get her!"
Suddenly Juliet screamed, a demon was behind her, holding his hand over her mouth. Oris smiled-- it seemed they had a demon hiding in the bushes behind her. Juliet's tiny body didn't look right in the demon's arms. It was like the demon was strangling a doll. She kicked and struggled in his arms, her eyes darting from all the demons as if trying to old someone's gaze. At this moment, a demon by Oris fell to the ground-- screaming bloody murder. Oris looked angry, "What the hell are you doing! Get up!" he yelled. The demon trembled on the ground looking totured. The demon holding Juliet gasped, "Master Jacob was right! The girl internally tortures you when you look into her eyes!" "Don't make eye contact with her!" Oris commanded, fusious.
In seconds, the demon holding Juliet started screaming, she fell to the ground-- taking Juliet down with him-- and let her go. Juliet gasped and quickly stood up, backing away from him as he held his burned hand-- steaming like a fresh hot meal. Oris gasped, "She can physically burn too!?" he seemed confused. Juliet summoned a card, the same gold and white shimmered one from earlier and threw it down, the blade like card slicing through the demons neck. He chocked and went limp. All the demons gasped as Juliet turned to face them-- the look on her face seemed like she wasn't a killer.. but it was something she had to do.

Everything happened so fast, Malice had barely had enough time to get angry at the demons for being so uncivil towards him when they were rattled up and ready to attack and one had already got the girl who he now knew as Juliet, he knew that he was safe but if he was to get the girls trust he would have to save her… But just as he finished that thought she had already crippled two of them, this left only two left, what a pity. Juliet seamed like she could continue but he didn’t feel like carrying her back to the castle… and he didn’t have any servants to do it for him either, he held his arm out in front of her, ” Please, allow me ”, he said in his deepest coldest voice, it was for show more than anything but always got him in the mood for killing. He spun his sword around and lodged it into his stomach… only to absorb it, the then used the hand that was on the hilt to mould his crown into a helm of sorts that blocked his entire face and neck, the bones in his forearms spiked out so that he looked almost armour plated, the bones in his fingers spiked out leaving long razor sharp talons, he sprinted towards “oris”, stooping low, he rolled and launched himself at the demon, just as he suspected the demon casually tilted his upper body to the left, Malice elongated the spikes on his right forearm so that they stuck into the ground and brought Malice to a stop almost directly next to the demon, and with a leisurely swipe of his hand he separated the bones in the floor from his arm and pushed of so that he landed on the demon itself, driving all the spines on his left arm into its chest and the nails from his right hand into its neck.
Everything seamed to pause as Malice’s robes absorbed the blood, he tilted his head back as if he were to let rip a bloodthirsty roar, but instead returned the crown to its original form and looked into the not yet lifeless eyes of the demon and as the red mist began to float from the demons eyes and mouth into Malice’s own Malice began to return to normal, once the souls were all transferred to him and the demon was lifeless he wandered over to the bones he had separated and absorbed them at the same time as making his sword again.
He turned to the last demon, ”Leave… Now”, He was almost growling, the demon knew he was beaten and scuttled back to the shadows of the forest. He had calmed down, ” Are you ok? ” , he said talking to Juliet, he stood a little out of breath and his robes soaked in blood.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ put me to sleep, evil angel... why can't i breathe, evil angel?___________________________________________ Juliet gasped completely suprised by how Malice fought-- and also by the mere fact that he was PROTECTING her? This would be the first time that ever happened. Ever since she came to Earth only a week ago she'd been hunted down. It seemed the Demon Lord caught one of Juliet and her father's fights and found the girl fasinating and a good addition to his alliance. But to have a demon-- and the King of Divinious at that-- protect you... an angel? Was Juliet fighting for the wrong side. As Malice seemed to handle the battle-- Juliet took a moment to wonder what each side has brought to her. The angel's killed her mother-- merely because her mother and father had forbidden and had forsakened children in the process. The angels also caused Juliet's father to switch sides and cause the death of her older brother, Alexander, to their father's hand. What had the demons brought to the table? Their fair share of trouble-- that's for sure. However, Malice seemed passionate-- and willing to help her. He even put himself on the line and killed his own subjects in order to ensure her safety. Maybe she WAS fighting for the wrong side.
Malice turned to her, asking if she was alright. Juliet only smiled a bit and approched the king with her best preformance of elegance her clumsy legs could manage. Suprisingly she did a beautiful job. Juliet came very close to Malice, looking up into his eyes with a curious expression. Her wings fluttered slightly and positioned themselves into a netural pose, making Juliet seem natural even though she still looked like a young child. "I'm unharmed-- thank you." and with this said, Juliet bowed her head respectfully and looked back up to him; her eyes shimmering. She blinked with little suprise as she noted a bit of blood on his cheek. Very slowly, she brought her hand up and brushed the red liquid away, lingering on his cheek.
It was a very strange thing to her. She blinked again as her cheeks flushed a light and rosey red. His skin was soft, and it almost felt like fire. Her fingertips tingled slightly as she quickly pulled her hand away-- realizing her foolish mistake. What was she doing? This was the King of Divinious! A Demon! She herself was an angel-- yet she was having strange unannounced thoughts for him? She felt stupid and looked down-- honestly, even if she WAS a demon it wasn't like he'd fall for her in any shape or form. She was so much more smaller than he was. His muscles made him seem huge though the height difference wasn't TOO bad. Juliet just found herself too skinny looking to seem right with him-- too fragile. In any type of relation he'd crush her. She blinked in suprise again-- was she really just thinking that?
Juliet shook her head and looked off into the distance with a desperate look-- fear. She wanted to leave this forest. But to go back to Divinious wasn't her first choice either-- she would run into more demons.. her father even. Maybe it was best to just stay here? Maybe the demon that got away would not displease Malice? Maybe he would forget Juliet was even out here? She hoped so-- the last thing she wanted was to enter another fight. "Malice--" Juliet paused and bit her lip, "I'm sorry-- Your Majesty? Um..." she paused again, her gentle bell voice sounding troubled, "If you don't mind my company-- may we stay here? I fear another group of demons will try to take me from you.." she blinked-- she feared WHAT? Juliet shook her head and cursed herself, yes-- she ment to say that... but not with that meaning! Juliet kept her head down, feeling utterly foolish and shyly gripped the ragged edging of her white dress, looking lost.

To say he was glad that she was safe would be jumping the gun, he was contented that his potential asset was not damaged… damaged things were of no use to him. ”… ” He took a deep breath and thought about saying something heart felt about how glad he was to see her unharmed… but nothing came, so he exhaled paused. It was then that he felt her hand on his porcelain skin, the fact that it stayed there worried him, had he damaged his skin without realising it? But after a split second she brought it away he could see that she was wiping blood from his face, perhaps he had not looked as elegant as he thought he did, never mind. He had practiced that style himself, on a good day he was able to stay air born indefinitely, balancing on the bones imbedded in the wall, floor and occasionally people, but of course there were bad days when he didn’t have enough souls to heal the space the bones he used left in him, meaning that while the bones were keeping him air born occasionally a leg or arm would be useless. He then realised that the entire time he was standing reflecting on his fighting style that she had just been staring and it might have been the adrenaline but it looked like she blushed… it must have been an angel thing, this never happened with humans. He found himself staring down on her, not in the condescending manner, but he had just noticed that she was perhaps a foot shorter than him, although he wasn’t the most muscular he was tall and so appeared to dwarf her. While she was doing what ever angels did in the presence of people like him he reflected on what the demons said, the demon king wanted her, he had done no small thing keeping that which the demon king wants, if he were s year younger or perhaps a death or two earlier he might have feared the thought, but he knew; He knew that the demon king needed him just as much as he needed the help of the demon inside of him, it also meant that he had a bargaining chip to use with the demon king.
He then noticed that she was staring off past him into the forest, she couldn’t have been thinking about going back in there could she? Then she began to talk, it had been a while since he had heard his name, and it wasn’t much of a name in hindsight but it was what he had to live with. He realised that his presence must have been scary because she reverted to the polite words and pleasant shrouds that people put n his title, anyway she seamed to be struggling with what she was saying and so Malice waited patiently… stay here, with her… usually he would not put up with the company of people for longer than an hour but she was different, there was a king of purity about her… a purifying flame kind of purity that he admired. He had his mind made up that he was not going to be without servants any longer but needed to keep her close, so that no one else could get to her… he then stopped, what the hell was he thinking, this was human life, why did he care… it was for personal gain, he tried to reassure him self, but he knew deep down that this was not the only reason. He then thought back to her speech, Take me away from You, that was a strange word choice. ”I will not stay here… But you are welcome to join me in my castle, there you will have round the clock protection as well as anything you desire”, He said almost chillingly… of course she might not want the dungeons and the human experiments but there might be something she liked. He motioned towards the huge white castle… it was more of a fortress… and white, it had been a while since he had seen the outside, that colour would have to go. He awaited her reply with one hand in his pocket and another relaxed on the hilt of his blade.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ put me to sleep, evil angel... why can't i breathe, evil angel?___________________________________________ Juliet looked up at Malice when he said he wouldn't stay here. She wondered if he was bored with this place-- like the way her brother often was. Juliet remembered how when she wanted stay in a certian place-- Alex would get bored with it and would want to leave. The thought made her smile slightly... no matter what men she met somehow they resembled Alex. Though Juliet decided that her newest friend El resembled Alex almost to a fault.
She bit her lip, stepping away from Malice and turning her back to him as she eyed his palace. It scared her, and the fact that Malice assured safty made her worry. WHY would he assure protection is the question. Juliet decided to pry the subject, "Malice..." Juliet muttered, feeling her body tremble, "you want something." she stated simply. Why else would a demon assure protection? She must be some sort of use to him-- a type of use she was to the Demon Lord. Juliet frowned, her little speck of hope in Malice suddenly disappearing. It seemed having ANY hope in the demons was a foolish idea. It was now that Juliet realized she put herself in danger. She'd spent all her time worrying about the Demons hunting her that she didn't pay attention to the enemies that mattered in her situation; Fal and Malice.

Malice realised that she was smarter than most girls as pretty as her, he paused a minute to word his answer, was it wise to divulge the truth of his existence to someone he had just met… they did seam to be fighting the same battle after all. ”You have to understand that I am not of demon ilk, the only reason people think I am a demon is because I have abilities that normal men do not… I am in fact a person possessed by a demon, my up bringing; its complicated… if said demon were to leave I would be as normal as anyone else in the kingdom… so you can see my predicament, I have to show at least some loyalty to the demons or ill be left as a host, all the stolen years, the stolen wounds and borrowed bones would be returned to there owners and I would die… in an unpleasant manner.” He was speaking softly as this was dangerous information, if the wrong people were to get there hands on this he could be in serious trouble, he decided that since he had come half way out he might as well come completely out In the open. ”… In a sense you are correct, I do need you, I was attacked earlier today, the demons they do not all respect me as you have seen here as well… With something that they need as my friend I may be able to rebuild this world in the way I had always imagined it.”. He took several steps towards her and pointed out over the lake… ”You see this?… this is beautiful and pure it is worth saving, you are beautiful and pure and worth saving…And so I will do everything in my power so save such things, but as I am in a deal with the demon king I cannot be seen to think like this which is why it must appear as if you are almost a chip in a game” He hoped she would understand, he didn’t hate her, she was pure… on the other hand he was a cold, heartless bastard. With that he looked almost unhappy, ”Ill assume my invitation is declined, it was a pleasure to meet you Juliet, I wish you luck ”, and as he said it he turned to away and stared into the forest waiting for her to at least confirm his thoughts before he left her to what ever unfortunate fate she might have.
