Yoru noticed Juliet's sudden tension and caught himself, gently pulling his hand away. She seemed nervous, maybe because a stranger now knew about her and her father. What if he was working for him? What if he wasn't as benevolent as his actions? He could only hope she wouldn't be scared off by his sudden closeness. What was I thinking, comforting an angel? He was supposed to be killing her or whatnot, and he was... no, he wasn't killing angels. He was helping them... just, in the only way that he knew how now.
"What kind of man would I be if I let an innocent girl be drugged and dragged away?" Yoru said, being a bit more distant with his answer than he felt before. His tone was almost said to himself, but painstakingly serious. Angel or demon, someone that was right under his nose and needed help would be helped... especially if they were angels fighting against demons. As strange as that might sound to anyone but him. "You were hurt, and couldn't fight for yourself. I couldn't just turn away." He looked down, now his turn not to meet Juliet's eyes.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ Suddenly while Yoru was ranting on about why he saved Juliet, she moved forward and hugged him sweetly around his shoulders. Her body was extreamly small, but still like a woman in a way. The embrace was warm and no where near awakard because Juliet just knew how to hug someone. She held him for a bit, whispering softly, "I know...and I'm really lucky that you came around.." she smiled and gave him a slight squeeze before she pulled away, the smile still on her face. She knew he'd peobably be aganist her hugging him but she didn't care. That was how she showed her gratitude.

Yoru blinked, his rambling cut off near the end when he was pulled into a hug. He froze, lost as to why this young angel was hugging him. When he could very easily be... She trusts me... And part of him felt that she would do so either way. The demon sighed, not sure whether that was a good thing or not just yet. But for now? He found once again that he couldn't push the girl away. So instead, he lightly hugged her back, feeling a bit childish with the action; but it wasn't a bad feeling in the least.
I love your hugs Yoru! They make you feel awfully special The thought was fleeting, but the little girl, the little angel he killed... she was a lot like Juliet. Sweet, a bit unsure of what to expect of the world but... they both were the same when it came to trusting him. Though he was different. He wouldn't hurt this girl, never. In fact? Yoru swore for as long as he could, and as long as she let him, he would protect her. "I'm... glad that you were alright." He lucked out when it came to that angel being fearful opposed to loyal when it came to the demons and Lord Fal.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ Juliet blushed more though her cheeks. To tell the truth she was suprised that Yoru had hugged her back. It was a nice feeling but it was even stranger that he stated he was glad she was alright. Juliet threw her body back, laying down on the fluffy sheets of the bed. She rested a hand across her stomach and the other rested limply next to her head, laying ontop of her long strands of blonde hair. She closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath and relaxing, "Yoru...?" she asked shyly, not opening her eyes to look at him-- getting his attention, "Youre a lifesaver... you know that?"

Yoru gazed curiously at the angel that so shyly said his name. The girl looked at peace, laying in the candlelight. He wasn't sure what to expect for her to say.
You're a lifesaver... you know that? A lifesaver, huh? He smiled, not quite knowing what to say to the complement. She was truly the freshest breath of air that he had received in a long time. Reguardless of his, or even her problems, she found the time to relax and let herself breathe. "Glad I could be of service." He said, a pinch of laughter to his voice at the comment. It was a bit unreal, to be in such a casual atmosphere in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. But it felt good to let go a bit. "I'll try and be there the next time your life is on the line as well." The statement was true, but said with the same airyness as the former. Hopefully that won't be happening for a while. Though with her father working for Fal, he knew that statement wouldn't hold up. A week, at best would be given for the demon's 'benefit-of-a-doubt' but once his task ahd proven a failure, Juliet here would be targeted by someone even more powerful. With a mental shrug he pushed the thought away, only a simple counter coming to mind. I'll just have to be ready for it.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ Juliet smiled and looked away from his gaze, her eyes fluttering to a close as she took in the warm feeling of his aura and the fire. It felt nice, even though neither were that close to her to begin with. How she could possibly feel safe right now with a stranger and darkness around her was totally beyond even considdering-- nonetheless she felt at ease with Yoru here. Her mind started to wonder as she kept the silence. In a way she was wondering what Yoru thought about her. Though in other ways she knew she shouldn't of even thought this to begin with. However it was still a curious thought in the back of her mind.
Suddenly, as if out of nowhere a light flashed in the window of the cabin and thumder rumbled the earth violently. Almost in the same instant, Juliet was sitting up-- a high pitched gasp escaping her lips as if she were ready to scream. She hadn't realized that and grabbed Yoru and had her arms around his waist tightly. Her wings had burst out of her back once again and fluttered in a way that resembled trembling. Shyly, Juliet looked up at Yoru with baby round eyes-- not willing to let him go just yet. "Sorry..." she whispered softly.

Yoru softly sighed, such a peaceful atmosphere this was. He could get used to spending his nights this way; his time of heightened senses, where he didn't need to worry about being caught in the light by the wrong angel or demon. Just he and Juliet, a strange pair, but he liked her company. He liked it more than he should have actually. But why ruin the air of things with thoughts like that?
Yoru glanced out of the window at the sound of an incoming storm. He loved the roar of thunder and clashing lighting. It was power that wasn't from angels or demons, echoes of something more natrual... though when Juliet clutched his wasit after the rumble of thunder, he figured that she didn't feel the same way. "Not fond of storms I presume?" He asked lightly. Though after her apology he shook his head, putting an arm over the girl's shoulders in an attempt to comfort her. "Don't worry about it.
