~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ Juliet panted as she hit the ground of the Cardol Lake. Her body appeared lip on the dirt and her white dress was torn from fighting. Her long pale blonde hair was a heap of waves around her, spread as if dramatically showing her comming death. Her pale white face looked like snow, with the faint blossoms of red across her cheeks from her rubbing. Juliet tilted her head to the side and glanced at her hand, still and poised as if dead. Her crystal glass card-- purple in color-- rested just beside her hand where she had dropped it. Juliet closed her eyes, trying to catch her breath. She couldn't fight anymore... it seemed impossible-- she could brearly move her body now.
"There she is!" some yelled. Juliet gasped and suddenly she was being pinned down by an angel-- fighting for the demons. Juliet started throwing her hands around, trying to push the angel away and free herself, "Sir, Jacob said her powers must be in process before we take her to Fal!" the angel said, pinning Juliet's hands down. A demon walked up to them, "It's too dangerous to activate them by force... we'll have to drug her." "But that will take, at least an hour..." "We can wait-- the girl will pass out within a few seconds..." "Alright.." the angel muttered.
The demon then took out a needle from his jacket pocket and nealed beside Juliet, pulling her arm to him. Juliet literaly started screaming and trying to pull her arm away, "NO! NO!!!" she cried-- her bell voice skrieking, the tears flowing down her cheeks, "NO!!" she desperatly pulled her body in all sorts of directions, trying to make it hard for the demon to drug her. She started screaming at the angel, "Don't let him drug me! NO!! Please!!" she cried. The angel closed her eyes in horor. The demon stabbed the needle into her arm, pushing the fluid into Juliet's veins. The liquid burned, all the way up her arm like an internal hell. Juliet's face reddened to her screaming, her back arching as she cried, "No! No!!" her heartbeat started to echo in her ears and her panted breathing became heavy. The angel wouldn't look at her, but the demon was smiling, gently brushing his fingers across Juliet's cheek, "Shh, little angel... it will all be over soon." he cooed. Juliet gasped, crying out at the pain of the drug, "Don't!" she yelled, her voice sounding faded, and suddenly everything started slowing down. Her momements slowed to a stop-- she was just breathing slowly now. The demon smiled, Juliet glanced at the angel with dazed and pale bloodshot eyes before she closed them and everything went black-- Juliet stopped moving.

((mind if I jump in?)) When he heard the first shuffle across the lake, Yoru thought almost nothing of it. It was most likely a group of teenagers out too late, or even nocturnal animals of some sort. The demon sat perched in a tree that he had climbed for his own entertainment when the sun was still high in the sky. Now it was late, and the stars were slowly twinkling into the darkening sky.
It was the time of every day that Yoru felt at ease. Shrouded in nothing but black. Here at Cardol Lake, there were no lights to give him away, and the people here were so caught up with the scenery, they simply passed him by. That might just be the spell... Fleeting thoughts of his first kill were the only thing that haunted him from the happening any longer. He was just about to delve into his third day as a demon, but was distracted by voiced from the same place he had heard the shuffling footsteps before.
"There she is!" Yoru narrowed his eyes, now getting a dark feeling from the area the voice came from. What the hell am I getting myself into? The demon jumped from the spot he was perched in and sprouted his wings, the black leathery wings stretching and flexing about before Yoru took off across the water. His eyes were now clearly a deep red, marron against the night's blackness easy to see. His horns and wings flickered, countering the spell that was placed on him twice. They were hidden from sight, yet now fully active as Yoru's demon blood that calmed during the day picked up from the excitement of darkness and danger.
"No! No! Don't let him drug me! NO! Please!!" The voice was closer now, clearly female. Yoru shuddered, the ordeal was clearly more horrid than he had thought. The voice echoed in his head, putting a frown on the the demon's face and determination to his flight. He probably couldn't make it before she was drugged, but he had to get there before they did whatever was coming next.
When three figures came into view, the pieces were easy to put together. She was drugged by the shadowy figure above the girl that had screamed, and there was an angel, probably the demon's lackey, that was there simply watching. Yoru wasn't sure he could take both, but who said that he was playing fair? The demon knew that the chances of this working were low, but if he could take one out immediately, he coud escape with the girl. With a silent prayer that wouldn't be heard, Yoru pulled out his blade and flew at the demon above the girl. She didn't look like she was moving any longer, The drugs are in affect... So she would be no help to him. Let's hope I get lucky then.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ The demon knealed beside Juliet gasped, drawing his blade and blocking Yoru's attack just in time. The sound was a loud clank that seemed to echo through the whole area. The Angel gasped, clearly scared and not willing to fight, "Damn!" he gasped and pushed the winged demon off, "Susan-- Take Juliet out of here!" he commanded of the angel. The angel-- now known as Susan-- picked up Juliet's limp body. Pausing a moment, her eyes pleading to Yoru as if she was begging him to take Juliet with him so the small girl could live. The demon growled, "Now, Susan!" he yelled. It seemed Susan was off into the woods the moment the demon yelled at her. Maybe that angel was working for the demons so they wouldn't kill her-- selfish...
The demon smirked at Yoru and held his blade tightly, "Fal cannot have the child escape him again." he muttered angered, "I will not have that happen!" and with this said, he lunged forward-- darkness radiating off his blade as he striked for Yuro.

(( It's fine x3 I think my first posts are run-on's anyways x3 ))
Yoru could do nothing about Juliet being taken away. The angel was working for this demon out of some sort of control. She was scared, but Yoru couldn't see how he could help her until this one was out of the way. If he's the only one threatening her, she might not be too far gone. He managed to muse before meeting the demon's eyes. He was strong, the feeling of power covering the area in fleeting waves. His attack had been parried, and now Yoru had a fight on his hands.
No matter. The demon met the darkness of the other's blade with a brighter, heavier energy of his own. San-Seisho was a somewhat difficult blade to use. He refused to use a demon's blade, so he used an angels. He couldn't infuse it with darkness, so what he used instead? The blade crackled as it charged, blue energy zipping up and down in an electrical fashion, looking similiar to lightning, but flashing quicker, growing stronger. Yoru had to be careful; because if his blade turned on him, he'd not only be electrocuted, but have quite the burns. Lightning was much hotter than the surface of the sun.
Making the clustering energy darting in and around his blade all the more dangerous. "You won't have a choice." Yoru answered back to the other's muttering, slipping to the side when countered and blasting an attack of his own. It was brighter then one would expect, but it wasn't the shine that surprised most; it was the speed. The miniturized strike of lightning was possibe to deflect, and even avoid; but most weren't sure what to expect first hit... and one hit was usually all that it took.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ The demon gasped as the materilized strike of lightining came at him. He moved his blade in front of him as a form of protection but the light took him out in seconds. The demon gasped and growled so loud that Susan, the angel who had taken Juliet away-- could hear. The demon droped to the ground and clenched his jaw, "Lord... Fal... glory... to the age of... Demons..." he muttered and died.
Susan, having heard the demons scream gasped. She glanced around frantically and layed Juliet on the ground. "I'm sorry, little angel. But I don't want to die!" Susan cried and flew off-- not wanting to face the same fate as the demon. Juliet rested on the lush grass on her side, her small body positioned in a way that looked as though she was sleeping. Her pale colored hair was shifted in a way that covered her face, masking her idenity.

At the growl from his opponent, Yoru knew that his attack had proved itself yet again. A lucky shot by a powerful blast. The scent of demon blood was chilling, but gave Yoru a sense of fleeting pride that he had won. Yoru stopped for a moment, eyes narrowed at the dying demon. His last words were about Lord Fal, a bit expected but... what did this girl; this angel specifically, have to do with the age of demons that he wanted so badly?
The demon sighed, sheathing his blade and dashing in the direction that the renagade angel had gone. He didn't want to kill her, she didn't seem she was in this for the power or the recognition... but he would if he had to. The pale face of the girl he was doing this for was so still; so tired. She had been fighting for her life before he had heard her. The angel couldn't have gotten far with the girl in her arms; she didn't look much larger than the girl she was carrying. Where did she go? Yoru's bright red eyes scanned the area, looking for any movement, or any hints that someone had passed by.
Finally he saw it; it was quick, and if he didn't know any better he would have sworn it was his imagination. The angel was flying away... but she didn't seem to have anyone with her. She dumped the girl? Yoru frowned, growling at the girl's cowardess, but kept going. If she had gotten rid of the angel around here, she couldn't have left the girl too far from here. In fact...
Her body was left behind in a paniced fashion. Her fair hair was draped across her eyes and mouth, she looked like she was sleeping; and wasn't waking up. She was lain in the grass, left for whoever happened to pass her to find her. Though up near this lake, someone could easily turn out to be a something... especially with him arriving first. The demon's eyes softened slightly, a flash of a woman with the curly blonde hair and that same small frame meeting his thoughts; though behind her was no hint of heaven. Only blackness where the thought should have been. Am I not even allowed to think of it, or has it really been that long?
Yoru sighed, shaking the memory and picking the girl up with ease. She wasn't heavy in the least, and it was somewhat worrysome at how easily she was carried. The young woman was almost doll-like, in looks and stature; as well as the color of her face and hair. What's a pretty girl like you doing with a demon and a rogue angel? The demon folded his wings in and turned around, looking toward the lake. He wasn't sure where she had come from; and he wasn't going into the city just yet. How was he to rent a room with a dead looking young woman in his arms? No, the best choice at the moment was to raid one of the cute little cabins around here and take care of the girl there. Swiping his tongue over his fangs in thought, Yoru took flight, heading toward the closest cabin; about a mile from the alternate shore of Cardol Lake.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ It seemed like hours since Yoru had found Juliet near the Cardol Lake. However it was only 2 hours ago that he had taken her to this small cabin. Juliet was still not away for she rested limply across a large and fluffy bed.
Time passed, and suddenly Juliet could feel everything. She could feel the heat of fire radiating from the corner of the room, the fluffy feather sheets and pillows of the bed she rested on. She could still hear her heart and breaths echoing in her ears. Juliet let out a soft moan as her body twitched slightly. Her hand resting in front of her face moved down as her head tilted to the side. The heart beats started to face into the background slightly as Juliet focused. Her face pulled in a way that resembled a baby waking up and streching. Juliet's eyes fluttered open slowly, glancing around the room with confusion in their pools of crystal blue. She sighed lightly as she streched again, continuing to look around. Where was she?

Yoru yawned, sitting on the mantle of the empty fireplace. He never bothered putting wood in these things and lighting it, especially now that he was partially in hiding. What happened if the angel that left this girl for dead showed up with backup? He probably wouldn't be too hard to find, but at least this way, it'd be a decent search.
It was well into the night now, the crickets were chirping and every once in a while he would be startled into looking out to the lake; hearing a splash or twig snap. He was a bit on edge, and it was no wonder. Anyone that came looking for this girl would be his enemy, angel or demon on either side. He already knew that no one could be trusted, but for now, he wasn't targeted often... That's all going to change isn't it?
Silent musings had kept the male entertained for a bit, but his train of thought was suddenly broken by a small moan coming from the girl that he had placed on the cabin bed, and even placed a couple of sheets over in case she was as cold as she looked. It was pretty dark in the room, a single candle the only thing that Yoru dared lighting. Besides, since when did a demon need aide in seeing in the dark?
"So you're awake?" A low, somewhat smooth voice asked the girl across the room. She didn't look like she was afraid, but she couldn't have known where she was. He wanted to launch into questioning immediately, but she was probably a bit groggy from the drug's side affects. Besides, how could he rain on the blissful ignorance that she seemed to emminate as she blinked those pretty blue eyes? "Care to tell my who you are? You do owe me afterall.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ Juliet looked in the direction of the voice, slightly lured by the smooth pitch. It was sort of calming in a way, but the dark turned that soothing voice into somewhat fear for her. Juliet sat herself up, flinching at a pain in her body. The drug was still settled in her veins, burning her on the inside and bursting everywhere to cause pain. Maybe Juliet's father created it that way on purpose... so Juliet would be put so far out on an emotion level that she would loose control of her powers... become a killing machine. Absently, she pulled the thick feather blanket to her chest, hugging it shyly as if it were a teddy bear to her. Her eyes reflected the light of the candle very dully, changing from blue to a slight silvery color.
She forcused her attention back to the male's voice, slightly seeing an outline of him near the fireplace. She could only see half of him-- the light from the candle only showed the left outline of his body. It seemed fine and lean as far as Juliet could tell. He had asked in his elegant voice what her name was-- and that she owed him that much in return. Juliet wondered what he ment for a moment, realizing he must of been the one who saved her, "You..." Juliet paused a moment as if she wasn't sure what to say. Her small voice sounded shy and alone-- a lost child, "You saved me?" she asked him softly, her blue eyes wide and wandering the outline of him. In her mind she faintly wished he'd come closer to her, she she could at least see his face. "I'm Juliet." she whispered softly, "Juliet Yvein Vimir... or Juliet Beautiful Elegance if you want to put it in english..." she shrugged, knowing full well that her name didn't match her. Honestly she was clumsy as hell. There was nothing ELEGANT about her except her apperance.

Yoru was surprised at the tone of the girl's voice. He watched her eyes flash from fear to something different, somethingalmost dark; and it looked rather strange on the sweet sounding girl's face. She must have remembered what had happened before she gave her name; though her fight didn't look like one easily forgotten, he was almost certain by the way she had awoken that she didn't remember it. "I did, you're safe here." For the time being. He answered with a more cautious tone. She was an angel, and now that she was awake, she could attack... How incredulous of me. She wouldn't harm an insect. Nevermind, she most likely wouldn't attack.
"Well then Juliet, I'm Yoru Kaseru." He looked up at the girl, surprised that she felt safe enough to give her name in a half-lit cabin after being attacked. She had a lovely name; it matched her face perfectly. His? Well, it was a bit different after bing changed. "It can mean many things, but 'wasted midnight' is easiest to remember." He didn't really care for or about his name either, though more than disagreeing with it, there were just too many ways to translate it. His name meant a plethora of things, from 'nocturnal' to 'day and night.'
"What happened out there?" He asked in a moment of silence after giving his name. His voice was more gentle than the slightly joshish tone he had used when he said that she owed him her name. She would probably want to leave once she regained her footing; but if she was being targeted, he didn't feel that letting her leave before the sun rose would be the smart thing to do.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ Juliet wasn't going to fight him nor would she ever want to fight him. To her-- fights seemed meaningless. It was just a ongoing event of inforcing pain. Juliet had enough mental pain to know she sure as hell was over physical pain. Besides, enforcing pain was just something that didn't fit Juliet at all. Her face was that of pure innocence. Her body looked so delicate and fragile it was a miricle she even LIVED this long. Even her brother had made from of her when teaching her to fight with her summoning cards, "Geez, Jules. You couldn't hurt the most fear man alive is you could..." he always said to her.
Yoru. It made Juliet wonder even more about him.. it fasinated her that his name would mean something along the lines of night. It made him seem mysterious. And with him so far away from her she couldn't help but feel like she needed to be closer to him in a way. Juliet pushed her body forward, flinching slightly as she reached out to him. In the small flicker of the candle's flame there were visable red lines scrapped up her palm and wrist. The demons must have tried drugging her before they finally succeeded at the lake. Under the red lines were rune like tattoos that were a pale silver aganist her skin. The network of curves swirled across her palm and up her forearm.
Juliet took his hand into her, her touch soft and warm despite her icy apperance. She gently pulled him over to the bed so that he would sit, "Sorry... It bothers me that you're so far away..." she whispered, her bell pitched voice sounding scared. She sat back and held the blanket close again, "My daddy switched side on the angels and is working for Fal. He had told Fal about my powers and now he wants me for his age of demons. I've pretty much been running from the demons and my daddy since I was five..." Juliet whispered, looking down as she spoke, "the drug they got me with were created by my daddy. They are ment to enhance my powers so when I'm taken to Fal I am in top condition.."

Yoru almost protested when the girl came over and grabbed his hands; but he didn't. Her soft grasp was persuasive simply because of the shyness in it; and the warmth in her hands was something that Yoru hadn't felt since he was sent to earth. Nothing in him was willing to push her away, especially when neither were in any immediate danger. Briefly he wondered how she was so trusting, did she know who... what he was? She must not have, becuase if she had a clue, closer priximities wouldn't be much of a comfort on her part. For now, all he could do is stop himself from meeting her eyes, and his spell to hide his demonic aura and appearance would fo the rest. "It's fine, as long as you feel safe."
How ironic. Her father switched sides with the angels, and the anges switched sides on me... Yoru listened to Juliet's story; and it was almost impossible to believe such a fragile looking girl was caught up in so much and being chased down by beings on both sides. Now it made sense that htere was an ange with the demon that drugged her; they might have been a good frined or follower of her father beforehand.
Her own father, hunting her down so he can use her as a weapon for somethignt hat he wasn't even born into. It was sick, and Yoru hated the fact that he was seen as an ally to someone like that. Who would work for someone even worse. She's been running from the demons almost her entire life. She had been on the run longer than he himself had been a demon on this earth. "You've been through hell and back, haven't you?" He muttered, pulled in to Juliet's answer to his question, and the way she explained it. Spilling a large part of her history with a shady character in a dark cabin.
"You're welcome to stay here as long as you wish." He knew if she stayed longer, she would know that he was a demon soon enough, but how could he push her away after knowing what she was going through. Who she was running from? Easy... he wouldn't.

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ A faint smile graced Juliet's lips when Yoru decided to sit beside her. She felt safer, knowing deep inside her that if he was willing to come closer so willingly then she could trust him in a way. If he decided to stay far away she would of felt scared, alone... in danger. The fact that the feel of his presence and being near him brought her comfort made her release his hand, not wanting to make things awakard. Besides, she felt safe now, no need to hold onto his hand any longer. "I do," she whispered gently, flashing him a shy smile that seemed cute in a way.
She looked down at his at his comments. Sure, her life was hell-- but it's the events that happened during her life that made her... her. "Daddy is very angry with the angels. He used to be in the Military for King Erican's army and my mommy was a member of the Angel Council. They found out mommy and daddy were married and had two children. Both of which were forbidden..." her voice faded slightly as she thought about all the times her father yelled at her older brother Alexander for wanting to leave the house, "They killed mommy for the crime and Daddy went mad." she shook her head and looked out the window, "He killed my brother... It was my brother who told me to run away...." Juliet closed her eyes, looking sad, "Was I wrong to leave him to die...?" she asked, more to herself than to Yoru. Juliet then opened her eyes and looked at Yoru with a shy smile again, "Sorry-- that's not something I should have concerned you with. Forgive me."

In a way, things were more simple now that he was fighting from the other side. He didn't need to go through councils and armies and generals and irrational leaders to do something that he pleased any longer. He just had to avoid them... easier said than done, but apparently it was possible. Those angels were so high on themselves, they must have forgotten what it was like to live a long time ago. Killing an angel's mother, and simply watching as her father lost himself. If he was a demon, they must have been something much worse.
Yoru shook his head no tentatively grabbing the girl's closest hand and gently squeezing it. For a moment, he seemed to forget that they were on different sides of this playing field; giving comfort to her as if he was still an angel... something that he hadn't desperately wished he was for quite some time now. No, not at all. He did it for you afterall. He didn't want the same fate for the both of you. At Juliet's smile, Yoru met her eyes, blinking back with his natrual coldness mixed with a strange unnatrual shyness. Those irises certainy had a way of pulling someone in. It was almost unnatrual, but in a lovelier sense than the way he described it of course.
"Don't apologize for telling me what you've been through. Not only did I ask, but I'm glad you told me as well." The demon explained, not knowing quite how to say that he was always open for listening. "It's better to tell someone, right?" Or so I've heard...

~Juliet Yvein Vimir~ ...you poor, sweet, innocence... ...Sweet Sacrifice...___________________________________________ Her eyes darted down to his hand grasping hers. She could of sworn that her heart totally stopped beating for a moment. W--why..." her pale cheeks faintly blossomed a color of red. There was a small part of her that wanted to pull her hand away. There was something that wasn't right about this. Something that didn't make sense to her. Sure, he was here listening, but there was something about him that Made Juliet wonder if she should leave... if she'd get in trouble for something in the future.
"Yes... I suppose your right..." she whispered, not meeting his glance. She started realizing that Yoru were somehow drawing her in, not on her own-- just something about him was alluring. She shook her head and looked back into his eyes, her own blue ones blazing in color like a blue fire, "Why did you save me?" she asked him, it was a question she needed to have answered. She wanted to know why she was here.
