Aurora City in the present day looks like any other modern city. Skycrapers and apartment buildings dominate the skyline, the stars and the moon drowned out by the lights of the city. No one remembers the legends of old, dismissing myths and folk tales as simply the delusions of uneducated, primative people. The undead are regaining popularity, but are still considered by most to be the stuff of wishful teenage fairytales, a representation of humanity's wish to surpass death and defy their mortality.
But deep in the darkness, hidden in the shadow of The City of Light, creatures of the night, the same creatures so often thought a myth, roam the streets and alleys.
