Large paws met the ground for a split second, then lifted, met the ground, then lifted, and the pattern continued as the King of Angels darted along the ground. He was on a mission, and though it may not have seemed all that important to some, to Thanio, it was desperate. His eyes, those big green eyes, swept across the barren land, searching for something, anything, that might disturb him.
When all seemed clear, Thanio continued forward, but more cautiously than he had done so when he had been tearing through the forest in cat form. He thought that he could feel eyes burning into his back, but even when he turned his head from side to side looking for the presence of another, he found nothing. He could scent nobody else either, which was odd, because at that moment the wind was in his favor.
Thanio shook himself off, then advanced from a wary padding to a paranoid trot. Though he was supposed to be a brave and fearless leader, even the shapeshifting Angel had nightmares from time to time.
Finally he made it to the base of the hill, where many little houses that looked more like shacks adorned the grassy lump. Oddly enough, there was little to no movement in any of the homes, and the only things that drew the eye of the Angel King were flickering lights that soon blew out.
Deciding it was best to play it safe, he remained in his cat form, a large savannah. His spots and sheer size likely gave away his position, but at least any who dared to watch him would remain unaware of his true identity, as the King of Angels.

Yoru took out his blade and let it shine. This was the reason that he would only get it refurbished when he was here. Something about the blacksmiths here, maybe it was something in the water, but something about the work they did was almost otherworldly. San-Seisho had never looked better, and gleamed with all that it was worth. It was an angel's blade, a gold handle and a long, but the weapon itself was small and somewhat thin.
He had placed the best spell that he knew of to keep his identity hidden. If he was right, and the blacksmiths were a bunch of renagade angels, then they might not have helped him with his knife repair if they knew that he was a demon. For the most part, he was pretty hard to figure out. He was civilized, and though he looked like some kid picked off of the streets, he had manners and a way with words.
They learned to get used to seeing him... though they do seem to wonder why someone like him needed a weapon like San-Seisho. They said that the sword seemed to hum when handled the right way. Like an angel's blade. One guy managed to add in that it felt wrong somehow, but Yoru quickly made something up about it not getting enough sun. He said it as a joke, an afterthought from someone inexpierienced. He couldn't be anyone but an OCD idiot to them. Well, an OCD idiot with charm anyways.
How suspicious.
Now he was heading down the mountain, unable to simply fly because it was daylight hours, and he was a bit too close for comfort to the town he was just in. On his way, he came face to face with a cat. A rather... large cat. Damn, did I mention that the demon had a sort of thing for animals? The fuzzy creatures usually just took to him. Hella weird, yes. Soemthing worth complaining about? Not really...
So the demon approached the little(large) kitty cat... Maybe this one would be like that cougar that let him scratch behind his ears. Well, at least he had put San-Seisho away...
{I really need to go, so the narroration's took a somewhat lazy turn I usually don't type out... sorry dearest <3 ... -gigglesnort- we should rp more often. -maul'd- I feel like a stalker.}

Thanio had been focused on making it safely to his destination, to the one place that seemed magical and heavenly- the only place he could truly relax- the smiths. The Angel King loved his weapons, and the forgery done by the smiths in Kazoku had become a favorite of his. Though he had been wary of his surroundings while he had been alking, obviously Thanio hadn't been focusing right in front if himself.
Before him stood a man, one who looked as though he did not belog, as though he was seperated from the rest of his surroundings by an invisible chain. Thanio nearly smacked head first into the stranger, but stopped in time. His eyes locked with those of the stranger, and immediately he knew two things- that an animal lover was easy to find in the man's soul, and that something was amiss. Somehow Thanio Arlette knew that there was something, though he wasn't sure what, that was almost ready to pounce. However, Thanio knew he could not blow his cover. He needed to get past the newcomer, and make of to the smiths. This time, he wasn't there on business. This time, he as there as a spy. His lip curled into a snarl, flashing the fangs of the savannah cat. He was hoping to scare away the other person so he could just get on with his life. Withhis short fur standing on end, Thanio slowly inched forward, looking as fierce and intimidating as ever. I hope he is without weaponry! ((Sorry, mines a bad post >.< My arm is falling asleep! And yes, we must roleplay together more!))

((Dude! Can we turn the swordmakers thing into a mini-plot?))
Yoru stopped, a bit confused as to why this animal was taking such a defensive stance against him. Maybe it had a family up here or something. As an angel, the only thing that enticed him as much as fighting in the frontlines as his father did, were the animals. Both the ones on earth and in heaven. He didn't remember much about his past life past his mother's voice and the multiple animals that he 'claimed' as his own. Nowadays he had to be relatively careful, but hey; he was stronger than any feline that he encountered.
Apparently this one wanted to be left alone. Yoru frowned, but shrugged, read to turn the other way and keep going, he was starting to feel a bit weary around this wayward svannah cat... but there was something else about the cat standing before him. One: Savannah cats didn't live in the mountains. An observation that stood somewhat pointless unless paired with fact number two. Two: normal animals didn't intimidate him. Number two was more a statement than a fact, but it was true. He was more... animalistic than ever. As a demon, the animals were afraid of him.
There was no way on earth, heaven or hell that this cat didn't get the memo.
So what was different about this kitty? Yoru felt a shiver as he met the animal's eyes, and the small, pulsing urge to spread his wings, show his fangs and claws and fight to the death. somewhat of a defensive mechanism when around most angels. Yoru met the fierce look on the savannah cat's face with a glare of his own... a growl threatening to eminate from his throat as well.

Surprize registered across the chiseled kitty face of Thanio when his bluff was called. Ether the man before him was a complete idiot with no knowledge of nature whatsoever; just a cocky bastard looking for something to fight; or he knew there was something wrong with the savannah cat being so defensive. I best watch myself, he thought, before someone gets hurt.
He began to slowly side step the stranger, ever so slightly circling him as he moved. His instincts and gut told him that the best thing to do was to strike hard and fast, then to run like hell, but his head told him that there was no need to provoke the stranger. He probably should have listened to his head.
Thanio leapt up, his large stature making it easy, and he raked his claws across the eyes of the man. With blood beginning to seep from the wound, hopefully blinding his opponent for a moment or two, Thanio turned and started to flee to the safety of the nearby forest. His heart raced, pounding in a rythmical beat with his paws as they darted over rocks and branches of all sorts. Soon, though, he stopped. If his opponent wanted to fight, he would be ready. If not, he was safe for the time being. OOC: We totally should :3 Hehe, Angel King gets caught sneaking around, doing some "research", then perhaps the two of them make a little.. trade of some sort. Blah, I have got to de-stress and improve my bloody posts! Volleyball and soccer tryouts were this week, and I'm pretty nervous O.o

(( This place is still alive? <3 )) Yoru jumped back, but that wasn't enough to stop the cat from raking it's claws aross his face. "Damned feline." He spit out the words, covering his eyes with his arm. He blinked once, twice, wondering whether this would affect his eyesight... thankfully other than the pain, he could see. But the cuts wouldn't just remain cuts, deciding to bleed a bit; but not enough to trickle down his face. The demon hissed, the contact that cat had made hurt more than the normal scratch of --even a very large-- kitty cat.
"Alright cat, what the hell are you." He said, eyes narrowed partially out of anger, and partially from the pain from the --borderline gashes-- scratches. He pointed his sword at the animal's direction, but knew that unless it showed itself, he'd leave well enough alone. Who was he to harm an animal? Damn creatures weren't involved in this heaven vs. hell smackdown. They just wanted to reproduce damn it. This cat here? Had ulterior motives. And damn did he have claws that bloody hurt. "Because you're certainly no earth crawling cretin. He hissed, this guy was either an angel or a demon --or some strange shapeshifting creature that was in between-- both could be his enemy faster than anything else.

((eh, come and go. I tend to get... sidetracked, you could say, when a site dies down.)) Though his large green eyes remained fixed on the strange man, who happened to be wielding a particularily sharp blade, Thanio kept moving, bit by bit. He wanted to - no, he needed to put distance in between the two of them. Otherwise tragic events for both parties could very well have arisen.
Pawstep by pawstep, the Angel King crept to the right, all the while remaining focused on the man on the hill. Apparently, this didn't leave much in the way of grace, because he ended up tripping over a couple of stones, flopping down heavily on the soil. So much for being sneaky, Thanio thought, beating himself up mentally for making such a juvenile mistake
He was the King of the Angels, after all. Making mistakes was not in the job description, nor was it necessary.
He quickly picked himself up, but felt a sharp twinge in his right shoulder. He turned his head to look at the source of the pain, but had to look away. Dirt and twigs clung in a nasty scrape that had taken away the skin and fur on his shoulder. He also noticed a small rock that seemed to have lodged itself in there some how. Oh, how wonderful. I just got my ass whooped by nature. Thanio grimaced as he tried to move his leg. Things would not be going smoothly for a while, he could tell.
Well, apparently I'm going to go have to do my best to beg for help from that dude after I attacked him. This oughta be fun. What a wonderful way to - His sarcastic thought was interrupted by another outburst of pain erupting from his wound. The large cat cried out in pain, making a dreadful noise that sent birds from all around him flying.
Damn it.

OOC: Mind if I join? The searing hot red hunk of metal was pulled out of the fire, Held in Nikkita's bare hands. she laughed, some of the other welders had given her insane looks, And Nikkita laughed at them. The funny looks hd made her day, and she slowly pulled a large metal hammer, then pounded the metal loudly, she was enjoying the moment, before she had to shove it back nito the hot coals at least. She looked over her shoulder, there seemed to be nothing unusual going on, so she removed her heavy coat, her body glistened with a fresh sheen of sweat, her muscles, visible in the flickering light, she looked like a goddess.
Looking over her shoulder again, she noticed a rather large kitty slinking around. She clicked her tounge, trying to getting the cat’s attention. She noticed, however, that the cat’s shoulder was torn open, and she looked to the supervisor ” Tony I’ll be right back” Nikkita yelled, then walked slowly over towards the cat, then bent over to pick him up. She was mesmerized by his spots, they where beautiful and incredibly large. Then, however, she noticed his shoulder, and plucked the large cat up off the ground, then went back over to her station, cooing slowly to the cat. Slowly, Nikkita began to remove the rock, as well as some straw and a few leaf bits, then she grabbed an ice cube and washed the nasty scratch clean. Finally, she put a lambs ear leaf over his cut, and tied it under his leg.
“Your such a gorgeous boy, I wish I could take you home with me”

Out of nowhere came a seemingly sweet woman, who cooed to Thanio and acted very childish. However, the Angel King found her to be oddly soothing in his moment of terror.
She bent down to pick him up, and Thanio prepared himself to be dropped because of his sheer size. However, while he braced for impact, he felt himself swaying. He opened his eyes to see that this woman, whoever she was, held him with surprising ease. His eyes narrowed slightly. It was unusual for anybody to be stron enough to carry a fully grown Savannah cat, especially a shapeshifter.
Then he noticed the scultped muscles in her arms.
Thanio let himself relax a little bit. He figured that the woman was a villager, perhaps one who did vigorous work. A metal worker, he guessed. Her scent contained many essences - coal, smoke, sweat, and metal, at the forefront. He could detect a few other things in there, but Thanio decided it best not to trouble himself with such trivial thoughts.
Soon, the woman set him down softly, and the big cat let a purr slip. The gentle care with which the woman handled him and his wound was surprising.
Her smooth voice trickled into his big ears as he let his eyes slowly open. Thanio looked up at the one tending to him with those big emerald orbs, a twinkle setting them alight with thanks. He let another purr out, deep and throaty. This time, though, he knew that he needed to be more careful while he got away. And, hopefully, the man he had attacked would be long gone.
If not, they'd be having some issues.

Nikkita giggled, he was such a sweet little kitty, and he seemed to like her attention. However, his eyes looked strangely familliar, almost human in a sense, like...Thiano's. Waving her hand in dismissal she pulled up another chair and set him up eside her, handing him a fish and gently petted behind his ears. " My your a big kitty, I wonder what kind you are..."
Nikkita murmured sweetly to him, reaching into the fire again, with her bare hands and picked up the searing hot metal. Grinning she dunked it into a bucket of water and It made a slight hissing noise, then turned away setting it down on an anvil and hammering it a few dozen times, then stuck it back into the fire. " Do you wnat to watch?" She asked, offering to move his chair around so he could watch.
He was a muscled cat, rare as he was, but his coat was darker, more so then another Savannah cats, she however, turned into a snowy white savannah, her spots where also black, like his. "Must be an f1" she thought, the metal ringing with each of her laboured strikes. She dipped it back into the water and pulled it out, grabbing a rag and began to polish it's blackend surface, turning around she showed the cat the wicked blade she had constructed from a peice of scrap metal. It's blade was curved, seratted, and seperated into two blades at the end. Little celtic knots encircled the entire blade. The hilt was dark brown, laced with ivory, and a few gems. Smiling, she hid in in her burlap sack. turning back to the cat she smiled " can you keep a secret, kitty?" she murmured close to him, taking in his beautiful eyes " I've always had a thing for Thiano"
turning around, she pushed the straps back up of her black suit and turned to leave, patting her thigh, expecting the giant cat to follow.

Thanio dipped his head in acceptance to her offer, acting every bit the gentleman he was around a woman. Those deep, compassionate eyes of his were just barely staying open, the Angel King comfortable and surprisingly relaxed. What harm would staying with his helper for a little while longer do?
Again came soft cooing from the tall woman, though she sounded slightly apprehensive. Why might that be? Almost immediately after he'd asked, Thanio received his answer. However, he was not exactly what you would call pleased. In fact, he wasn't even neutral about the words. He was utterly terrified.
Had it been an angel, one of his own, admitting her feelings to a cat, Thanio would have found it sort of cute. However, the woman before him was no angel he'd ever seen. She didn't carry the distinct sorrow many angels displayed as of late, nor did she seem particularily... heavenly. She was more towards the gothic side, with tight black clothing and gleaming black locks atop her head. It became obvious to Thanio that she was no ordinary villager, either - most would be highly reluctant to look as such, and besides, the people of the hillside village were unaware of the angel society, meaning Thanio.
It was entirely possible that the woman had perhaps heard of him, maybe seen him around a time or two. Yet for some reason, those hopeful thoughts did not reassure his knotted stomach.
With fear clawing at his belly, and terrified eyes glowing cautiously, Thanio followed the woman, though he kept his clas at the ready. If she really was a demon as he suspected, then he didn't want to be taken by surprise.
How embaressing a situation that would become.

Nikkita smiled and walked slowly towards her house, toutching the Pentogram necklace she had tightly strung around her neck in a chocker style, she could sense the kitty was tense, and even more so the he didn't seem...right. " You know, you're a tough kitty, and look at that shoulder, your being so brave" she murmured, picking him up and walking slowly inot what looked like a little shed. Setting her sword in there, upon the greeting light, they all glinted beautifully, tons of unique swords, daggers and even a walking stick. " come on, Let's go inside" she murmured, patting her thigh as she locked the door behind him. When they emerged into her house, it was lightly furnished, with wooden floors, dark ebony wood that covered most of the house except the carpeted bedroom, which had a dark emerald green, heavy celtic knotted comforter, seventeen diffrent sized of dark emerald green pillows. " DO you like it kitty? I kinda hope you would, it's honestly so hard being a huntress, Fal's been really heavy on the demanding to find some angel named Juliet. I helped her escape, but I don't think it did any good. Tmavy almost killed me off, it was really scary." she murmured, slipping into her closet and quickly stripped off her outfit and hopped into the shower. while hot water poured over her body she stopped for a moment, then continued to have her great shower/bath.
OOC: do you want her to catch him in his human form afer she comes out of the shower?
